Carmine's Restaurant   

Some italian, some meat and potatos..pastas, veal. I had a terrific Filet Mignon Dish...sliced..it was wonderful.. Relatively classy place...no tie or jacket required...but nice all the same. It was worth the price...the desserts are awesome...try the chocolate soufle. Average cost between $13 - $19.00. I eat out at least 2x a week...usually more...and i will pay up to $20 a dish...

As an out of towner, Carmine's was recommended to me by a friend. The whole place was perfect. From the free coat check, to the bus boy who replenished the water every few sips, it was superb. I chose to try the pistachio encrusted salmon. It was pure heaven, it literally melted under my fork. It was served with smashed potatoes and snow peas, which were perfectly crisp. My date had chicken, topped with brusetto, eggplant, and cheese, also served with the same sides and just as delicious. We had two cocktails and one dessert and the total was $48, which I thought was cheap for the quality of service and food. Even though the dress is said to be casual, the Saturday night I visited it was more business casual. I recommend this establishment to everyone. I'm willing to drive 2 hours, just to eat at Carmine's.

The food and service are quite good. However it is very noisy, particularly when seated next to loud people who constantly are using their cell phone. A experience which should be pleasnat and relaxing becomes one wher you eat fast so you can leave.

Carmine's food is delicious and the staff is attentive and friendly, not at all pretentious. Everything sounded wonderful, so it was hard deciding on just one thing. I ordered the chicken special of the day and would definitely have it again, You have to try the fallen chocolate souffle It melts in your mouth.
