In his pursuit of excellence, Brad persuaded Certified Master Chef Dale Miller, one of only 60 in the United States, to combine their talents to create the ultimate dining experience. Love it

We first went to Jack's over 30 years ago. New in town, starving, didn't realize it was upscale. Walked in looking like scrounges with two small kids in tow. They didn't blink an eye. Treated us like visiting royalty. Service is almost always 5 star. Food quality dipped for a time until the former owner of Stone Ends became head chef. It he's on the night you're there, there's no finer. Clams casino are to die for. Food portions are not exaggerated but certainly adequate. Prices strike me as very reasonable for this quality. The place is noisy but that flaw I'll overlook. Bonus is an occasional glimpse of someone really interesting - i.e., semi famous in our area.

I have heard from friends that if your going downtown - go to Jacks. I will never listen to my friends again. I can't believe so many people like this place. Extremely noisy dinning room. Tiny portions. Overall Very Dissapointed!!

I've lived in Albany for 30 years.Every once in awhile I retry Jacks...never had an outstanding meal.I've had a good meal there but most have been only fair.

I LOVE Jack's because it is really Upstate, New York perfection. The wait staff is professional, food is excellent, atmosphere is perfect. Wonderful place to enjoy, truly enjoy a meal and your company.
