An all-inclusive bluesy biker bar for darts, dancing and distilled satisfaction, the Stone Face Tavern is a favorite lunch and nightclub spot on the north side of town. A fun, faux medieval feeling pervades the entire place. The fake stone facade, gargoyles perched on high, and wall-size portraits of half-naked, big-bosomed warrior women create an interesting castle setting for lunch, dinner and libations. Live blues bands keep the large, mixed weekend crowds moving on the roomy dance floor, which is fittingly guarded by statuesque winged beasts. The menu is original for bar food, but its the beer, wine and spirits that are truly appreciated. Stone Face offers 20 different schnapps, 16 different tequilas, a bounty of beers, plus an impressive list of single malt scotch-whiskey selections grouped by the Highland, Lowland and Islay Regions of Scotland. Best place North of town!

Love the atmosphere...good for all ages. Best "wings" in town. Most of the help is good. Wish they would ban smoking out in the beer garden though!

The staff sucks! Many, not all, of the bartenders and waitresses are rude. Lousy service at best. The bar manager treated my girlfriend like trash. My girlfriend is a bartender in this town and has had many people tell her the same thing about Stone Face. I'm not sure why people continue to go there. They must like to be treated rudely...or maybe it's because it's Albuquerque and there's nothing to do here to begin with. Unfortunately, people get used to being treated badly here and continue to go back for more. Gluttons! Try Joker's Pub instead. Their wait staff is waaayyy better and so is the music if you like pure rock. I'm not affiliated with Joker's in any way but I know a diamond in the rough when I see it.

Pretty Bartenders

The atmosphere is good and there is usally good looking girls there. Worst comes to worse, the bartenders are all goodlooking and they have to pay attention to you.
