Fantastic Northern Italian Cuisine
By stevestt on 03/17/2000
Scalo's serves up some excellent pasta. With an extremely attentive wait staff, your every need is exceeded. The menu changes occasionally but the quality level of their offerings is always on par with eateries you'd expect to find in the largest metropolitan areas. With a very nice wine list with many choices, there are many choices to pair with food. The only drawback is the noise level that can be a little high when at full capacity. Parking can be tough sometimes. If there is a wait, their bar area is cosy and their bartenders are very attentive. I take visitors there for a culinary experience they can only boast about. Don't forget their desserts since they are also great!

Nice atmosphere, went there for a business meeting. The food was nice but the service was kind of average. Loved the desert!

An Albuquerque Jewel

Scalo's consistently serves up great food at a great price. The wine list is large without being pretentious. The staff is somewhat stuffy, but no unbearable. The table staff, however, is generally attentive and knowledgable. Highly recommended!

Cowboy Italian

I was in town for the WMA (Western Music Assoc.) show this weekend and had the extreme pleasure of meeting Tom and Enrico there. We had a sample of the menu and just absolutely loved it! We highly suggest a visit no matter what your taste is.
