I visit Amarillo often and enjoy eating at Tacos Garcia. On my last visit I enjoy the Tampico and the plate was excellent. Each item was cooked in the tradional Mexican> I was most impressed with the dips and sausa. By the way, I drive up from Ft Worth and I always look to my next meal there.

Tacos Garcia was the most fun I have had a mexican restaurant! The atmosphere and the wonderful smells made the wait in line for a table not seem so long! The wait staff was great! And the food! Oh the food! was just sensational! Enchiladas, tamales, tacos, guacamole and of course queso. And even more amazing, my daughter actually ate all her beans!

This is my favorite mexican food restaurant. Everybody there is so freindly, and they really treat you well. I live in Lubbock, about a 2 hour drive from Amarillo. I do make frequent trips to Amarillo, just to eat at Taco's Garcia. The food is authentic, and fresh. There is always a line, but it is worth the wait. I have also orderd take out, it is just as good and fresh, but I did miss out on the atmosphere. They are simply the BEST. It is not to be missed.
