Gwennies Old Alaska Restaurant   

Ok I will give them the, "Their servings are huge!" quote, cause they are. I ate there a few times, since I worked right around the corner, and it wasn't a chinese food or sub place. I would order their ruben, it was decent, and more food than I could eat at one sitting and fairly priced. I have had other things there, but the Ruben was the only thing I really liked there. Unlike my husband though, I wouldn't go out of my way to eat there.

One of the best damn "breakfeasts" in town. Reindeer sausage & eggs with home fries (about $10 bucks w/tip). Kinda geared for the regular hungry guy. If you prefer latte & lace, brunch buffet, it's around the corner for $49.95.

This restaurant provides lots of food for the money in a very quaint Alaskan setting. I like it much better than the other reviewers indicate. It has absolutely the best BLT I've ever had and probably ever will have. I can't make it so good at home ... but come hungry. It's about as much as one person can eat.

This is a very old place piss pore management and BAD food with sh_tty service! GOOD LUCK!!!
