Jazz is supreme at this intimate Sandy Springs hot spot. Caf 290 continues to be one of the city?s premiere local jazz venues. The casual club offers a wrap-around bar and multi-level seating for excellent viewing of the live bands performing on the corner stage. Fine food and liquid libations are usually flowing in this jumping joint where a multi-racial crowd consists of upscale, 30-50-year-old professionals who come to enjoy the show or escape to the attached sports bar for a break. -? Horrible Customer Service
The managers at this place are awful. Their customer service skills are so poor that they should take a course in "How to speak to a customer." Over the phone especially, do not expect to get a polite or accurate answer about upcoming events they may have. The manager I spoke to over the phone was incredibly rude when I asked about an upcoming event. Her exact words: "Didn't you understand what I just said? I am in a meeting and we are not even open right now." She was a horrible representative for that establishment, so neither myself nor anyone I know will be going back to that place.

There is simply no place else in town where one can hear the best smooth jazz. Acoustics are great. atmosphere is the friendliest, and the food is very good. Best salmon and steaks around. This diverse club is one of a kind. Rub elbows with celebs, movers and shakers, and just everyday people. All are treated like royalty. And be sure to check out Tommy's Sky Box in the sports bar.

Cafe 290 has long been the place to meet and mingle with the friendliest people in town. The music is always great and the management sees to it that the patrons are well served.
