This relatively new after-hours nightspot primarily caters to the gay and lesbian crowd, providing a more "adventurous" alternative for those who think Backstreet has become just a tad too "straight." The club serves no alcohol -- juice only -- but that doesn't mean the crowd isn't full of energetic spirit, and one suspects chemical enhancement may play some role in the wild, celebratory atmosphere. Blu is basically a converted warehouse, with an almost overwhelmingly booming sound system and mind- altering light show to accompany the thumping house and techno tunes spun by regional and nationally known DJs. -- Bret Love

20 bucks to get in?? how crappy is that! but i guess it has to make up for the non alcohol somwhere...but IS IT REALLY WORTH 20 BUCKS? thats what i want to know. i drink a little..not an alcoholic..and im a lesbian and i like techno...is this the place to go?? someone please email me and let me know!
