If you're from the South, you should know that you don't have to go to grandma's house anymore to experience the same type of down-home breakfast and comfort food you likely grew up on. In fact, you don't even have to leave the city thanks to this eatery which serves up massive amounts of Southern classics with an equal amount of Southern hospitality. Housed in a quaint country cabin located in the Midtown, Bobby and June's is a charming experience thanks to the rocking chairs on the front porch and the Smithfield hams hanging from the ceiling. However, don't be surprised if you find yourself wanting to take a nap in one of the chairs after you eat, because almost everything on the extensive menu is conducive to a belly-filling affair. Don't believe it? The menu features favorites such as fried chicken, fried okra, fatback, collard greens, mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, barbecue pork and green beans cooked with fatback. And you wash it all down with sweet, sweet tea. Believe it now? Whatever you do, leave just enough room for some of Bobby and June's famous banana pudding.

went on a Saturday morning--closed--what?? a breakfast palce closed on the weekend? Yep -both Sat and Sun!!--well, needless to say I've written this one off my list--not open for business-hard to give business-- I'll find another place that cares about their customers --weekends are when breakfast people come out and eat!!

To each his own--this just isn't mine---food edible but obviously canned-and overcooked. Nickel and dimes you for every little thing--a to go cup after you just ate price depends on size-jelly during lunch 25 cents extra-it isn't breakfast anymore! I guess some folks are used to being treated this way-I perfer not to be--and , almost forgot--don't try and have a conversation over your last bite--it's time to go!!-The owner actually has the nerve after you have given him your business - and money-to tell you to leave! Bye Bye Baby!
