The SceneBuilt in 1924, this Peachtree Street classic originally served as a bachelor apartment complex. It now has 139 rooms and 12 stories entirely dedicated to commercial hotel space and, of course, gender restrictions no longer apply. It's a simple, red-brick facade with little adornment, overshadowed by the neighboring Georgian Terrace. Mahogany beams and Southern antiques inside underscore the hotel's history. Comfort and comprehensive amenities are the bywords here, and at rates that range from $69-$89 a night, the Days Inn offers historically low pricing as a testament to its deep past. It's a real bargain.The AmenitiesA great spot across from the Fox Theatre in hip Midtown, the hotel is only minutes from downtown Atlanta and is central to most of the big attractions and office buildings. The hotel boasts seven restaurants within walking distance, but a short drive will take you to many more.
