Leopard Lounge   

Atlanta's Midtown area is great. The '90s saw a resurgence of nightlife in this near-downtown group of retail and neighborhood spots. All within walking distance, there are plenty of things to do in Midtown, both before and after dark. In fact, the area is so boom-filled that many clubs opened up in what were formerly homes. On 12th Street lies such a spot, called the Leopard Lounge for both its decor and feisty clientele. A good martini is just the start for this oh-so-swank spot. Work your way through the house, and you'll find a new theme for each beautifully decorated room. Venture downstairs, and the action gets much hotter. The dance floor down below is always hopping, with great DJs playing dance music all night. Another hip spot for the young professionals, the Leopard Lounge will bring out the tiger in everyone. -- Matt Wright
