Nino's, opened in 1968, has been owned and operated by Antonio Noviello since 1982. Originally from the Amalfi Coast of southern Italy, Antonio worked in Monte Carlo, then Bermuda where he met his wife Helen, an Atlanta resident. After moving to Atlanta in 1981, Antonio's life-long dream of owning his own restaurant became a reality when he purchased Nino's. For more than twenty years, Antonio has taken pride in serving authentic Italian Cuisine made with fresh, imported ingredients and cooked to order for each guest. His reputation for serving exceptional Italian cuisine has attracted devoted locals who return time and again, along with a long list of celebrities (see below) who had heard of Nino's reputation and stopped in to sample the fare. Many of the dishes on Nino's menu are original recipes brought from Italy by Antonio and his brother Giuseppe. Antonio invites you to relax and savor some of the great culinary treasures of Italy in a memorable dining experience.

THE BEST ITALIAN .... BUT..
By hopsing717 on 01/04/2006
I HAVE BEEN GOING THERE SINCE 1973.... I HAVE RECENTLY BEEN DISAPPOINTED.. THEIR SALAD USED TO BE MUCH SIMPLER SUCH AS PROVINOS SERVES.. THEIR BREAD WAS SERVED HOT LIKE A SMALL ITALIAN BAGUETTE THATS GONE TOO. THE BREAD CURRENTLY CAN BE BOUGHT AT PUBLIX.... THEY USED TO SERVE FRESH STRAWBERRIES W WHIP CREAM... I STILL LOVE THE PLACE BUT THEY ARE CUTTING BACK AND LESS MENU SELECTION.... I STILL LOVE IT BUT IT CAN AND HAS BEEN SO MUCH BETTER .....PLEASE GO BACK AND RETHINK BECAUSE YOU CAN DO IT BETTER BY DOING WHAT U USED TO DO...

What happened?
By bradley2840 on 07/13/2005
As an Atlanta native, I have been visited Nino's for many, many years. I have to say that though they have removed a few of my favorites from the menu....the Clams Casino was one of their best dishes (the Clams Oreganatto is NOT a substitute!) from the menu. the quality and service have maintained a high standard. Last night we visited the restaurant, only to be met with an even more limited menu, no special requests---even though the restaurant was nearly empty, and an inexperienced and less than attending waitstaff. The restaurant itself was HOT, also. The quality of the food was also greatly disappointing. We miss the old standby....the cheesy atmosphere is always welcome, but the quality, service and selection needs improvement.

Ninos is the best Italian food I have eaten since visiting New York or San Francisco. The mussels appetizer was superb. Pesto Ravioli, fresh and wonderful. The Cannolini- Light and delicious. Good wine, good atmosphere, and great food.
