this place is great!! you feel like you've walked into a time warp--it really is a true 50s diner--the food was great--I had the corn beef hash-grilled to perfection with 2 eggs over medium-again like they should be and the creamy cheese grits and unreal biscuits--this is heaven!!!!

Breakfast is awesome--southern cooking done right!! Melt in your mouth biscuits-best ever!! This place is a throw back to the 50s-been here since 1956 so the menu says--great food and service--I WILL BE BACK!!

This place is great! Stopped in the other day and had the pork chop breakfast--Wow is all I can say--tender center cut chops fried to perfection--biscuits were the best ever put in my mouth--I saw that this place will be on diners, drive-ins and dives in the fall can't wait to see it--I will tell all my friends--go to the Skillet!!!!!!

Whatever the problems were years ago are obviously fixed---this palce is BY FAR--The Best Breakfast in town!! The biscuits melt in your mouth, the country ham is so tender you can cut it with a fork--not the shoe leather variety you find elsewhere--service is the old style--fast and friendly-- unbelievable find-- and they've been here 52 years!!--I guess I can see why!!
