More places like Woof's would do everybody some good. Establishments like this Buckhead hangout throw convention -- in addition to darts and verbal jabs from rival fans -- to the wind. As the city's only gay sports bar, Woof's barks at separatism just as loud as it does a referee for making a silly call. Misinformation may have some thinking that a homosexual-friendly pub wouldn't be accommodating to the casual Monday Night Football fan; that isn't the case. In fact, you probably won't even realize the place cares as much about who is out at home plate as much as out of the closet. Jerseys and ball caps adorn the wall, cheap drinks are behind the bar and tasty burgers and hot dogs come off the grill like anywhere else. They just do it all in front of a proudly waving rainbow flag.
