If Elvis were alive and craving pasta, this is the kind of place the King would haunt. Low ceilings, cozy banquettes, nondescript paintings and a well-worn interior make this one of the most colorful spots in town. We like to start with a Chianti (don't expect anything remarkable from the wine list) at the bar and check out the freshwater fish tank. An antipasto of marinated vegetables and greasy-garlicky bread start any meal. The menu is Americanized Italian -- nothing fancy. We especially like the veal saltimbocca. If you're looking for prosciutto with fresh melon or a saffron risotto, this isn't the place.
