Andrew's Upstairs   

Everybody from Sarah McLachlan to Shawn Mullins has played here. Everybody from 23-year-old students at Emory to 31-year-old single executives has partied here. Andrews (called Celebrity Rock Cafe a few years back) is that stylish almost sublime abyss from Buckhead's usual hubbub pretty much everyone can enjoy. Almost any night of the week at Upstairs you're likely to see a row of martini-sipping singles at the huge bar and somebody plucking away at the guitar on the stage. The mood is pretty relaxed at ground level, but venture up the stairwell and the scene turns slightly cozier, what with the snug sofas, tables and private bar in the VIP section. Get to the venue early enough and you can grab a pre-party dinner at East Andrews Cafe and Bar downstairs.
