Located in the Midtown Promenade Shopping Center next to the Landmark Midtown Arts Cinema, the Apres Diem International Coffee House and Bistro is a full service bar, restaurant and coffee house with both indoor and patio seating. The menu offers a wide selection of sandwiches such as Salmon Ciabatta and Roasted Portobello, pastas, salads and appetizers -- try the Baba Ghanouj or Sauteed Mussels -- plus several dinner specials available after 6PM. Of course they also serve several coffees, teas and other beverages, as well as an ever-changing selection of pastries. Apres Diem's warm decor makes it a great meeting place before or after a movie. -- Tim Griggs

Sweep you off your feet
By babielov61 on 06/09/2007
I don't know if was the atmosphere, the flavorful wine, the dim lit lights, or the ease of having a conversation- but I loved it there. Time flies and you never saw where the last hour went. I have met great people here. It is a great spot for private meetings, dates, evenings with just your friends, or that special moment when you want to be by yourself. I love Apres Diem. Just writing about it, I'm considering going there tonight. :) Enjoy.

panic attack
By doodoo30309 on 03/30/2002
I have never felt more at home than I did while having brunch. I have been three times now the first for dinner on a Tuesday night and there were people Tango dancing. It's was the best time ever. The food is Top Notch! The filet was cooked to perfection with great veggies on the side. The second time was for a friends Birthday in the backroom with the comffy chairs. We kicked back and had eggs benedict to die for. The third was a friends co-ed baby shower that I set-up it was great they did food for me which was as awesome as the service. Delicious sandwichs, hummus, and a cheese platter. If you want the comfort room you have to pay extra, but they let me use the room with the knowledge that I would have to share the room with other patrons. The girl using the room after me that day didn't quite understand that and she had a panic attack when she saw other people in the room. I had the waiter bring her a mimosa and told her to please not freak out in front of my guest and I would do the same for her when her guest arrived. I told her it was about celebrating and what do you know everything worked out. The staff and the experience will leave you happy.
