After the lights go down -- or in this case, turn blue -- the bar truly heats up. Azul, which means blue in Spanish, reflects its namesake with a mood that Miles Davis or John Coltrane could make sweet music to. Dedicated patrons love the jeans-wearing-flash-free vibe and the fact that tequila flows at all times. On most evenings you'll find soft rock in the speakers and a few Andy Warhol-inspired chairs to settle in and get a good conversation going. The mellow scene disappears on Fridays when things get super busy for happy hour.
