Rate and Write a Review Located in Little Five Points, this bar has the feeling of an authentic British pub, thanks to its dark wood decor and laid-back, neighborly atmosphere, but more than anything, it's a sports bar. What sets The Brewhouse apart from your standard sports bar is that instead of baseball and American football, the TVs here are always tuned to international sports such as soccer and rugby. As with any sports bar, hardcore fans can be found expressing their passion for their teams, so don't be surprised if you see guys drinking while upside down, or singing fight songs in unison. To facilitate such activities, two large bars serve a wide selection of imported beers, bottled and on tap, as well as the famous 'Painkiller,' which features dark rum, orange and pineapple juices and cream of coconut over ice. Depending on your "pain," you can order either a 16- or a 24-ounce version of the drink, and at three different strengths, ranging from one shot of rum to a double shot. Above-average pub food is also available, and just like the brew, can be enjoyed on the large outdoor patio, which is a great spot for people watching since it's located in the most active area of Little Five. -- Tony Jenkins
