Chip's brings the finest in regional blues to the North Georgia area. The low-key roadhouse was once a convenience/general store and now is a destination point worth the effort to find. This is not some place you'll just stumble upon, so watch for the Citgo sign as you travel down the two-lane residential country road off 316. Inside is an intimate, no-frills, live venue with a friendly staff to serve the coldest brews and unique bar food offerings. The usual wings and burgers are complemented with such concoctions as fried dill pickles, olive- filled muffuletta sandwiches and po-boys. Nothing trendy here, as Chip's is definitely a place for the serious music and blues lover. -- Kevin Sechrist

Nasty place, nasty owners
BEST BURGER AND FRIES
Great hole in th ewall, of the beaten path, with a fiendly staff and awesome food 98% of the time. Service can be slow if it gets busy, but it's a dive bar! Sometimes smoky, the blues bands are packing them in. Come late and wait. Early Saturday afternoon or weeday and you have a down home country spot to hideaway in. Lots of "suit bikers" vist form far and wide . ( accountants, cps's and so on, that ride and live free on the inside! HA! Worth the try for the coldest beer which the draft lines are a scant few feet from the cooler. Watch oput for the lier's corner.that's wher the owners and firends hang. There is just a good feel to this dark, bar. Dress down, and kick back.

I live 2 miles away from chips, I love stopping in for a beer or two, great place nice people
