Located in the sleek 905 Juniper mixed-use condominium development, Chocolate Pink Caf is a full-service bakery that also is a great place to grab dessert and espresso. Pastry Chef Christian Balbierer has worked at some of Atlanta's finest restaurants, including BluePointe, Pano's & Paul's and Alon's Bakery. Expect some European flair as Balbierer has received training from French pastry schools, with those influences showing up in the apple frangipane, a buttery cake filled with sauted cinnamon apples and the sweet simplicity of a fresh fruit tart. But it's chocolate that dominates the menu, showing up in the chewy ginger chocolate cookies, a chocolate toffee crunch pie with an Oreo crust and caramel sauce, and triple fudge brownies with dark chocolate chips. Chocolate Pink also creates custom-designed wedding cakes.
