As part of the Buckhead Life Group of restaurants (BluePointe, Nava, Pricci), Chops has been consistently ranked among the top ten steakhouses in the country by food critics. Dark-wood ceilings and chairs suit its mostly business clientele, and the mood lighting and sophisticated service will make a favorable impression on your client or date. Large live Maine lobsters are a house specialty, while others rave about their Dover sole sauteed in butter, capers and lemon. The main attraction, however, remains the broiled steaks, which include a 10-ounce filet, prime NY strip "au poivre" (served with brandy pepper sauce), and a surf & turf combo that features an 8-ounce filet with a batter-fried lobster tail. If you miraculously manage to have any room left after your feast, by all means, indulge in dessert.
