Now, imagine purple-haired servers with nose rings dishing out Alfredo instead of elderly blue-hairs handing out hot dogs and you've got the ambience. Food is served assembly-line style and the drinks are dispersed industrially in giant metal tea and water canisters next to a table of napkins and forks. Hey! We're at summer camp! It's just this down-home feeling that has made this spot a hit. Lunch hour lines often stretch out the door and there's always a rush at 6pm. Why? Like those dining halls and community centers of yore, the lines move fast, the food is cheap, and you leave with a satisfied belly.
