In the age of health-conscious eating, the name of this Buckhead location of the famous Los Angeles burger joint may be a bit off-putting. However, even though its not health food, the offerings here are a step up from your run-of-the-mill fast food choices. Within the retro setting, which resembles a 50s diner with its bright yellow and red colors and neon signage, Fatburger serves fare that is just as classic. The menu includes all the favorites, including grilled and charbroiled hamburgers, turkey burgers, chilidogs, fries, homemade onion rings and milk shakes. The difference between Fatburger and most of its competition is all the burgers served are made-to-order, using fresh, never frozen beef, the fries and onion rings are cooked in cholesterol-free oil, and the milk shakes are made with real hand-scooped ice cream. It may not be a place youd want to eat every meal, but if you have a hankering for an elevated fast-food experience, youre in luck.
