Rate and Write a Review Quick Tips: 1. Parking: We like the Park-Ride option -- on the south side -- where you can park for $6 and be transported by one of a large fleet of shuttle buses directly to curbside check-in. The ride takes 4-5 minutes. 2. Transportation: More travelers are finding MARTA the best means of getting to and from the airport. From any city station, you will be taken directly inside the terminal building. 3. Inter-terminal Transfer: A 3.5-mile underground transit system swiftly carries passengers to five (A through E) of the six concourses that serve 24 international and 146 domestic gates. 4. Food: Uniquely southern, Paschal's (in the Atrium and A Concourse) serves up the fried chicken, yummy vegetables, biscuits and cobblers you want to have when you come to Atlanta. 5. Special Note: Don't tell anyone, but usually, the line is much shorter at the T-Gates. Folks don't realize that you can go through that checkpoint and then proceed to any concourse. Atlanta Jazz Festival: The Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport is a hosting venue for the Atlanta Jazz Festival, May 1-31, 2004. Performances will be presented by the Airport Art program in the Atrium. For more information, contact the PR Office at (404) 209 - 2954 or visit their website.
