Don't let the outside of Havana's fool you into thinking that you've pulled into Crazy Eddie's Used Car Lot. While the restaurant looks like little more than a converted doublewide trailer, your meal will more than make up for any aesthetic injustices you may suffer. With nearly 30 unique Cuban sandwiches, Havana often tops the list of Atlantans-in-the-know. Seating inside can be crowded, but there is also a patio to help with the overflow. To compliment your meal, Havana sells a small assortment of Cuban groceries. Owners Eduardo and Debbie Benedit came to Atlanta from Cuba in the 1960s, and Havana Sandwich Shop has been in business for over 25 years, so that should squash any questions of its authenticity. Even if they never expand, it's worth your time to visit Havana's to come try what many consider to be the best Cuban sandwich in the city. -- Dave Alexander
