San Francisco Coffee Roasting   

Whether you prefer the smoothly floral Bourbon Santos from Brazil or the six-beaned San Francisco espresso, this coffeehouse is the place to order a cuppa joe brewed from beans grown in the Americas, Indonesia and the Pacific basin. The Atlanta-based San Francisco Coffee Roasting Co.'s signature coffee is its SF Blend. Also popular is the cold drink of espresso, milk, and sweeteners, called, oddly enough, the cold coffee drink. All coffee is roasted on the premises, and SFCRC is perhaps the only coffeehouse in town to offer this service. You can enjoy your java at three different locations. The cozy flagship at North Highland and Amsterdam avenues also has a terrace for enjoying that cold coffee drink when it's warm out, and is joined by the nearby shop at 664 N. Highland Ave. at the corner of Blue Ridge. The newest SFCRC opened recently at 225 E. Ponce de Leon, Suite 170, with the entrance on Church St. SFCRC also offers a Web-based coffee club for those who prefer to sip their brew at home.
