Junkman's Daughter is known as one of the premiere spots in Atlanta to purchase vintage items. Its location, in Little Five Points, doesn't hurt its reputation either. This trendy little district is known for its offbeat and artsy culture and famous vintage clothing, book shops, cool alternative band clubs and hip clientele. If you're already hip, you know that Junkman's Daughter is the place to shop in order to find clothes that truly make a statement. You'll find plenty of vivid attire for both men and women including skirts, suits, coats and accessories. Junkman's Daughter also sells quirky gift items like cookbooks, home knick-knacks and pop-culture paraphernalia. Sure, some of this stuff might be considered junk -- but one man's junk is truly another's treasure. Besides, how do you think this place got its name anyway? Bring your friends and plan on spending an entire day scouring through the unique items at Junkman's. You never know what cool trinket or outfit you'll run across.

Elitist in junkmans
By kkelly824 on 09/23/2006
Little five offers a wide selection of vintage stores with friendlier service. I recently visited this store with two friends and was shocked by the way a sales clerk talked down to us. Simply for trying to go to a dressing room w/o his permission, never knew being in retail gave you a power trip. I don’t appreciate some kid talking to me in the tone he took when I am an adult.

Amazing place

Amazing place, you have to visit this store if you're in little five points. It's jammed full of everything under the sun from knickknacks to cool clothes/shoes, consignment and retro wear, and a great head shop in the back. You can go through every aisle twice and still not see everything. The staff was pretty nice to me and my friends, and they gave us recipts with no problems. You will have to check any bags you bring in at the bag check at the door. Also, make a donation to their stray kitty fund.

Ive been shopping there for a long time now and its hard to believe that the people who worked there were rude. Theyve been nothing but nice and helpful .
