A dressy casual crowd meets here to celebrate special occasions and enjoy the patio in nice weather.The Food Chef Carvel Grant Gould reinvents the New American menu every few months, mixing and matching seasonal ingredients with aplomb. Parsley creme fraiche balances the earthiness of wild mushroom soup. Sliced, diced and pounded tuna is fresh, with a mild sesame-mustard dressing. An entree of bacon-wrapped monkfish is a sublime mixture of salty and sweet; huckleberries complement the smokiness of roasted venison. To finish, a trio of creme brulee succeeds with coffee and vanilla.
