HORRIBLE SERVICE, SUBPARE FOOD
AVOID EATNG HERE THE SERVCE WAS VERY BAD ALONG WITH THE WAITER NOT EVEN GETTING THE FOOD CORRECT ALONG WITH PUTTING ITEMS ON THE TICKET THAT WERE NOT EVEN ORDERED AND SAYING IT IS GOOD FOR YOU! THE ONLY THING THAT WAS GOOD WAS THE RICE AND GRAVY! OTHER THAN THAT AVOID THIS PLACE AND THE RIBS WHICH WAS A SLAB OF FAT!
Bittersweet
The good news: beautiful place, Josh Childress for the Hawks, was being interviewed
The bad news: We were seated without menus, the waitress
(Kai) had about 5 tables and service was very slow. She never asked if we wanted beverages, we had to ask. My son ordered the french toast and wings: the wings were small and over cooked. My daughter ordered the fried shrimp which were heavily breaded and the cole slaw was tastless.
nice place to mingle
horrible place to eat. I tossed & turned all night with an upset stomach.. must have eaten a roach!
I hadn't been to Justin's in about 3 yrs. prior visits were excellent. However, after last night I will never eat/drink there again. Service was lousy, a couple of side dishes weren't included with entrees.. when asked about, "we're out." did not substitute items, nor discount price.
My sister just told me of a recent visit, celebrating a friend's bday. She wanted to bring a cake in.. the staff informed her that it would cost $1.50 per slice to bring HER cake in & eat. She had spent over $200..
It's not just me...Sun 1.28.07
I'm the type of person to form my own opinions so remarks and reviews wouldn't sway me either way. My experience at Justin's in Atlanta was bittersweet. I was with a party of five, we were seated within ten minutes and we received our food in a timely manner for it to be fresh and hot. The atmoshere was relaxed, casual and dimly lit. The service was adequate. The food was presented well and was tasty, though they ran out of cornbread. The problem arose when I noticed a roach crawling on the wall next to me. I knocked the roach off the wall so it would not be noticed be any other patrons. I alerted James the host (Manager?) as to the pest problem and he just said that he was sorry about that. Then my party was bombarded with attention from the wait staff. These actions seemed very odd to the rest of my party. I felt a little sick thereafter because I wondered about the roach infestation in the kitchen area! Am I wrong for expecting something in return for my discretion? It's a matter of choice to visit Justin's, just know they have a roach problem.
