Drenched in deep greens, reds and purples, Loca Luna's decor creates a lush tropical feel, and beach scenes painted into fake windows help to complete the illusion. An interior courtyard lends a feel more common to Montego Bay than Midtown. The festive atmosphere can grow to something of a cacophony when the place is packed, and you almost expect a cruise-ship-worthy conga line to form at any moment. Live music from the Latin-flavored house band ensures that the energy level at Loca Luna remains at a fevered pitch. The Brazilian menu offers around 30 tapas choices, so your best bet is for everyone in your party to order several. Fare ranges from simple sides, such as tomatoes and mozzarella, to more complex concoctions like grilled squash filled with goat cheese. End your meal with fried plantains or a tasty torte, but make sure not to get too full. You don't want to samba on a stuffed stomach. -- Bret Love

Soo much Fun. We went there on a friday night for my friend Jen's 20th birthday and it was awesome (21 up for guys 18 up for girls). The colors and decore are beautiful and attention grabbing. Fun music, great marguritas, cool group of diverse and welcoming people. Always fun going back. Make sure to drink a red bull or energy drink, grap a group of fun outgoing friends, and head out to Loca Luna for a great night out!

out of all the places in atlanta ,this one was not the one ....dont belive the hype , this was a let down.

I always have fun here

I've been here a a good amount of times and always had fun. the crowd is always diverse and festive and the atmosphere is great. Of course the scene changes from night to night, but in my experience, not the "upscale, snootiness" you get at vision or other places like that. Don't worry about the gay crowd, especially if you are just out to have fun and dance because they are too!
