In search of Atlanta's beautiful people? Look no further than Tongue & Groove in Buckhead. A very classy interior holds a cozy bar and an open dance floor made of the club's namesake, tongue-and-groove flooring. In fact, the interior is so posh you may find yourself saying, "shaken, not stirred" with as much suave sophistication as you can muster. Wednesday nights offer Latin Elegance, and Thursdays are full of Smooth Grooves. There are also periodic live jazz and swing nights, but be sure to dress the part as a very large doorman only lets in the coolest threads. Need another reason to check this place out? Elbows Over Charges Smelly

Tongue and groove in Buckhead Thursday is definitely dropping off. Looks like they're the last to go after Mako's, but before Fado's. The place looks set to be bulldozed with the rest of the block to make way for Sam Massell's Real Estate Boom. Back in the day it was great, but now the owners are no where to be seen. We went on Thursday, and it's down to that last throw where the staff thinks everything is great, but the writing is on the wall. Covers to regulars, owners friends, at $20 each was crazy just weeks ago. Now it's all about taking what they can get while they can get it. We all drank free at least...bar staff is first to know.

A little small to be a traditional club, but on Thurs nights there is good music and a good crowd.
