A group of us went to the TUN after our Christmas Party at Angelo's Fairmount Tavern. The atmosphere is cool, the prices are comparable...but the service was awesome...all of the bartenders were cool...male and female...but the one shy bartender with a go-tee and sporten a clean shave is TOO HOT!

i had the best steak i have ever had at the TUN! the blackened cowboy with blue cheese and crab meat was the quality of a Manhattan reastaurant. the chef is truly a master.

More than good beer...

I hit the Tun Tavern many times when going into AC. Awhile ago, I would have said to have a few beer, wings and rings, then move onto somewhere else for dinner. I still enjoy the beer but now find myself staying there for the entire meal. My last three visits have been wonderful despite the crowds. Twice I had steaks done perfectly...they make a pretty damn good cheeseburger too! Try the sampler if you can't make up your mind about the beer.
