from the minute i entered this place...i was taken back...the things i heard about chef vola,s is why we chose to dine there. what a waste...the food, the room, the guy running around to serve the ten tables was a disater...it was dirty, smelled like a wet basement and the nylon pink napkins and tacktydecor was enough for me...never again

Only for those who enjoy fine
By brdwybob on 03/08/2007
Chef Vola's is only for those that enjoy fine dining. The food is excellent. The portions are generous and the staff is great. It is a BYOB restaurant. Another plus! Lou and Dominick are the greatest, but don't tell them Bob said so. Be sure and save room for the home made desserts. You've never had anything like them! I don't know what I enjoy more, the entree or the dessert.

Epicurean Delight
By kaa7861 on 02/19/2007
Superb selection of expertly prepared Italian and continental dishes. Only for those who appreciate fine dining cuisine. The owner and staff are attentive to every detail. There is no better place to dine in AC or any of the surrounding counties. Atmosphere is atypical of standard restaurants, small room, close quarters, jovial conversations all add to the ambiance. Don't go if you are not a connoisseur of fine cuisine or want intimate conversation. For food lovers only. Have tried various entrees and all are excellent. You can't order anything that isn't delicious. Make reservations 4 weeks in advance for Sat. nite.

New Years Eve Dinner

Six footers and up will need to duck down to get in the door to this tiny place, but it's well worth it once you sit down and start getting served your generous portions. The filets and strip steaks are gigantic and cooked to perfection. Try to save room if possible for their awesome desserts.
