It is the domain of the Dellionaire -- up north, where some Austinites have not been in years, far from the hustling crowd that is overtaking the downtown of this fair city. There among the New Tech Revolution sits the Cool River Cafe and Steakhouse, a reason (if you need one) to travel to the North Country. Offering casual dining in the bar area or in one of several dining rooms, including private ones, the Cool River Cafe is a comfy, cozy place complete with a hearth to make you feel at home. On the other hand, when do you make seafood-stuffed empanadas at home? Or mussels? Or prime rib? The service is good and the food, although a bit pricey, is just right.-- Mike D'Alonzo

The Best
Wow, I went for my engagement dinner and it was the Best( we both had steaks)!!!! Great customer service too! Great entertainment (dance band called The Pictures band) after we ate over in the bar too!!! A full night out without having to drive all over town for entertainment.
Food- Atmosphere and Wine
I was so pleasantly surprised, when I fist came in. To the left nice bar, cigar room, pool, Sports TV.s great hang out - to the right a beautiful dining room, great menu, service, Wine List and of course Wonderful food. Highly recommend to friends and love each trip back..Just Please..it is a nice dining room, Dress appropriately..it helps with the ambience of fine dining
