If you have a hard time deciding what the eat avoid this place. The menu is huge. Plan your day around lunch at Kiefer's. Order at the front counter, get your drink and chips if you like, they bring your fresh meal to your table. Fast friendly service and if anything isn't just right, they'll make it right. Sit at the bar, at a table or outside on the deck (maybe not so much this time of year). You can fax in your order and it will be ready to go when you get there to eat there or carry out. They also do great catering for your next meeting or office group lunch. Be sure to check out the soup du jour and the daily specials. Cindy and the gang make a point of knowing the regulars on a first name basis and after your first visit they'll probably know your name too. Incredible pizza and good service. If you want pizaaz try the southwest chicken pizza. It is wonderful. By far the best place in Austin.
