To say that Beerland has a decidedly industrial feel would be like pointing out that the Rockefellers have a bit of cash saved up for a rainy day. The walls are made of untreated concrete, decorations are scant and the clientele seems to have cornered the market on spiky bracelets and Bad Religion T-shirts. All of this makes a fine setting for nightly musical performances consisting of every conceivable offshoot of both punk and heavy metal. Another nice touch is the admirable selection of diverse brews. Here, you?ll find everything from Lone Star to Guiness, and even the finest of these available suds won?t set you back too much. Nor are the libations at Beerland limited to just beer -- vodka, rum, tequila and whiskey are almost as popular as are their hop-crafted counterparts. Pound a few shots and you?ll be suitably handicapped for a friendly game of pool.
