The only thing keeping the Draught Horse from being a bona fide English pub is its unlikely location on Medical Parkway, just off 41st Street. Wooden benches, dartboards and more beer taps than you can shake a stick at combine to give this out-of-the-way bar an old country feel. And if youre a connoisseur of beers, a visit to the Draught Horse will be for you what a trip to the Menil is to the art lover. These guys have so many different kinds of beer on tap; Im tempted to believe that theyve made a few up. After a few glasses of the stout these guys are serving up, youll be culling your change trying to figure out how to get to the nearest tube station.

Your here for the beer! Everything else is gravy.
A great place to find many good international brews as well as some good home brews. Bring your dog, folding chairs & pickup because sitting outside in the parking lot tailgaiting is acceptable! Picnic tables w/heaters are also available. Servers are informative but always seem over tired and a bit gruff but when you talk to them they brighten up. There is a base of clientelle which are devotees to the place and tend to be very friendly. I'm not one of those yet but I am studying for the exam. I'll keep going back until they get that 5th star.

Great building~one of the best beers selections in town~Don't put $ in the jukebox,you can't hear it.The staff are aloof if not just plain rude.3 stars for the building!
