Emeralds belongs to those bygone days when only a minority of restaurants in Texas had video poker machines at the end of the in-house bar, assuming those days ever existed. You cant win any cash at Emeralds, but you can spend plenty, and itll probably be worth it. Lobster, steak, lamb, beef, and other fare are prepared with flourishes, little nuances, and fine sauces. A selection of fine wines areavailable, several of which youll taste in the sauce. Escargot, salads, and soups are also quite well-prepared. Expect a dinner for two to run perhaps $100.
