Mother's Cafe & Garden   

still a very good place. After the fire, Mother's took a very, very long time to get back up and running. Unfortunately, something seems to have been lost during the down time. The old garden with its amazingly mellow vibes has been replaced by a trendy, enclosed room, much like any other restaurant you've ever been to. On our last visit, the new staff was not friendly and the service was very slow. That was our fourth visit since the reopening. Each time we go back, things seem worse instead of better. I think there is a slight chance that Mother's may not make it, this time around, but I'm hoping the powers that be, there, start kicking some butt and getting the new staff in the groove. The food is still great, btw!
