Salt Lick BBQ   

Good, but not as good as Rudy's. Maybe if U2 gave Rudy's a turn , they might switch.

Both beef and pork are too dry. Half mashed potatoes with a small amount of BBQ sauce for potato salad....excuse me. Poor excuse for coleslaw. Plenty of food and choices but over priced. Written up 'by themselves' in tourist mags as being top rated. Not. It's OK with a nice old time atmosphere in the original building. Just too trendy. Don't waste the gas.

yumm :) if you are in Austin, even just for the day, make it a point to drive down to driftwood for The Salt Lick. You will not be dissapointed. As an Austinite, i never have :)
