Serving up bursting breakfast tacos and mounds of migas, piled high with tomatoes and jalapenos and smothered with cheese, south Austin's small Taco Xpress eatery never disappoints its loyal fans. Regulars gather for cheap, yet bulging, breakfast tacos in a familiar environment. Owner Maria Corblan runs the five-table restaurant, marked by an outdoor patio and colorful graffiti art. Among the best tacos in Austin, Taco Xpress also offers veggie options like the vegetarian verde: eggplant, onions, green beans, bell peppers, zucchini and mushrooms wrapped in a tortilla made from scratch.
