Rendezvous Lounge Inc   

Ahhhh the 'Voo.' I once spent a year in a collegiate writing class, writing turgid story after story set at the 'Voo.' It was one of the first bars I ever went to in the city, over a decade ago, and still haunts my imagination. More the old locale, when it was across the street and was shaped like a big square with booths down the center as opposed to its current multilevel incarnation. It was a place to get lost in, fine momentary love, a temporary family, and embrace a gallimaufry of the city's charms. Cheap drinks, ambiance, and the hope that something new would walk in and change your life. Even though I have broken with this place....When I think of bars that wrap you up into their little microcosm and cause you to care... I think of the 'Voo.'
