Bill Bateman's Bistro at Power Plant Live is an open and relaxed place to watch a game and have some wings -- boasted shamelessly as "the Best Wings in Town." In addition to 14 different types of wings, Bateman's offers a huge selection of filling American fare. For an artery clogging taste of heaven, try the Crab Pretzel -- a soft pretzel smeared with Bateman's Crab dip, then topped with melted cheddar and jack cheeses. The manager's favorite picks are the 24-ounce Porterhouse steak and the Chicken Chesapeake. He is also a big fan of the wings and touts the philosophy that "if you have Bateman's wings for lunch, you will later remember it, but not regret it." The crowd here is very young -- college-age people dressed to the nines. In addition to plenty of indoor seating, Bateman's also has retro cafe tables outside.
