Drinks took 25 minutes to arrive from the bar (waitress appologized twice). Shrimp rubbery. Trout mushy in places, overcooked in others. No oyster forks for the Oysters Rockefeller. And no one in the restaurant seemed to care that things were so compoundedly wrong!

Went there with an entertainment coupon with BOLD letter saying "valid anytime". Other fine print said not valid after 6:00pm Saturday to 9:00pm. Waitress just passed it off saying oh yeah we get that a lot and it is "Contridictory" The Valid anytime stood out in a lot of fine print and I had stopped reading. To me this was a clear "bait and switch" tactic. I mean why make the exclusionary printing so small? I am sorry these eyes just don't see like they used to, thank you for bolding "Valid Anytime". Jasine, the waitress simply announced there was nothing she could do about it, even though we arrived at 5:55 and they had us wait 10 minutes. Yeah, real nice. I did not ruin the evening for my date by protesting. The discount was not worth it. And, I probably would not write this if the waiter could have advised us on the relative qualities of the Rockfish versus the Trout. He simply said he liked the Rockfish better. Oh yeah he stepped in to fill in for a missing Jasmine, our first waitress. Whoops, shouuld have listened. The trout was certainly overcooked and the sauce had an acidity to it suggesting it had been sitting a little too long. Average at best, although I am a bit more critical. I would not order it again. The Asparagus with the Tenderloin was likewise overcooked and the presentation was amataurish, splayed out like fallen tall weeds from a mower. I would judge many must enjoy the food but just don't expect honesty and ethics here. Steven Easley

try the spinnach salad made fresh at youre table.the crab middleton is the best crabmeat dishes ive ever tryed.this place is a fine dinning institution rich with great food,top notch service in a warm atmosphereand steeped in history.i have been dinning there over 20yrs.and cant wait till im there again...
