Let's just call former talent promoter Bill Bateman Baltimore's king of chicken wings. That's how good these are. All 14 versions of them. Meaty, crisp, never greasy, and graded according to firepower from demure to demonic, these are flightless wonders. The ribs are pretty good, too. As are the multitudinous sandwiches and quesadillas and all manner of other light fare, aptly supported by the line-up of microbrew taps behind the bar. Some locations have pool tables, but all have banks of sports-tuned televisions that draw a raucous game-time crowd. Co-eds hang out at the Towson branch; Clarksville is a bit more upscale. But easy-going good times are pretty much on tap all around.

GONE STRAIGHT DOWN HILL !!!!!!!!!!!!
THIS PLACE IS THE WORST NOW, GONE STRAIGHT DOWN HILL.
ESPECIALY THE LOCATION ON REISTERSTOWN RD. THE PLACE SMELL LIKE MILDEW AND NEEDS REMODELING BAD.
THE WINGS ARE DRY AND HARD, ITS JUST PLAYED OUT!
TOWSON LOCATION ONLY GETS BUSINESS CAUSE OF ALL THE COLLEGE KIDS, BILL BATEMANS BAMKS ON THE FACT THAT THEY WILL EAT ANYTHING NOT SOLD ON CAMPUS!!!
best burgers ??
To even quilify for the title of best burger, it has to be fresh ground beef and hand ptted. Bateman,s is neither. Enough said.
best wings not?
i don't know how everyone says they are the best wings in baltimore.iam a huge football fan and every year we will get wings for a couple of big games and have friends over.one year we got batemans from the dundalk location.they were the worst wings we ever had.there are far better choices to get wings instead of batemans.
AWFUL
The Bateman's in Severna Park - is awful, the food, and the service! My husband and I should have turned and run when we were there on a Thursday night and there was only one other table with customers and an empty parking lot. I did an online complaint after the one in the restaurnat was ignored, we received a letter from the district manager giving us $15 off our next meal. We threw the letter away and won't ever go back it was that bad.
