Your pitcher is never empty and the big crabs keep a-comin' at Bill's on Eastern Avenue. Neighborhood folks and locals agree that this traditional crab house serves up the largest and meatiest steamed crabs in Baltimore, even during years of underweight harvests. Bill's crabs come in other incarnations too -- huge crab fluffs and mighty crab cakes, to name a couple. Drop some coins in the jukebox and pick away or sit in the big backroom, at the old-time tables and catch an O's game. Don't be surprised to see Boog Powell over in the corner -- picking away with you. The former Oriole calls the huge crabs here "aircraft carriers." Servers are known as the friendliest in town and fans all agree that Bill's makes a crab picking frenzy affordable. You can phone ahead for prices. BEST CRABS EVER

Steve, you do have the best crabs in Maryland. I see that some of the negative remarks were some time ago. I did not experience that kind of service the last couple of times we ate at MR BILL'S. As Texas Tom said, you can't fix it if you do not know that its broke. You can't see everything because of the amount of customers that you serve every night. May be a complaint box would help. Keep up the good work and keep those great crabs steaming. GM TOM

i just want to let you know that greg w. in o.c. made my visit to your rest. one the best experiences my family has had in all of the 40 yrs. we have come to the beach! he went out of his way on a nite you were so packed, to make our visit the most memorable,joyful,pleasant nite in a long time. o.c. lucked out on getting such a great person to greet vacationers and locals to the best crabs and food o.c. has to offer. thank you so much and much success.....the nemec family

Crabs r great, service stinks

We had to quit eating there. I love the crabs and the seasoning, but got tired of being shoved around like cattle and growing old waiting for a table. Barmaids aren't friendly and the waitresses do tend to forget about you. It's a shame. Reservations would be a great idea. We've switched to Crab Quarters. They do take reservations, the waitstaff is better and the crabs are good (eat in).
