How do you describe a bar-restaurant whose walls near the front entrance -- guarded by a stuffed raven -- boast pictures of Kramer from 'Seinfeld,' bondage babe Betty Page and Robert DeNiro's Travis Bickel from 'Taxi Driver'? No matter. Don't let this menagerie dissuade you from crossing the threshold or you'll miss out on an up-and-coming establishment that's part neighborhood joint, part place to impress. The downstairs bar can become packed in no time during happy hour; once the market bars fill up, folks just amble across the narrow street and stroll through the first door they find. If you seek respite from the at-times raucous twentysomething crowd, head upstairs to the restaurant, which offers everything from wallet-friendly sandwiches to more expensive entrees. Diners can choose from a variety of appetizers, including four different styles of quesadillas. Main-course offerings include crab cakes (in single or double portions) and the oft-raved-about pan-seared ahi tuna with mango hot-and-sour sauce for dipping. You also can partake of seafood and steak dishes, and chicken Chesapeake. -- Pete Kerzel

Crazy Lil's is a great place to eat or a fun place to hang out with your friends on a Friday or Saturday. The staff is friendly and the bartenders definitly have fun when they are working! They have great drink specials including $3.00 car bombs and $5.00 Redbull and vodka... all the time. The food is awesome. They have several different types of pizza and their entrees are amazing! Don't forget the 50" plasma tvs for watching the O's and the Ravens.
