Rate and Write a Review Many people are surprised to find Ding How in the midst of Fells Point, Baltimore's trendy singles scene. This old-fashioned Chinese restaurant is an oasis on Broadway's otherwise over-stimulating stretch. For more than a decade, patrons have sought refuge in Ding How's brightly lit dining room and high-backed bamboo chairs. Many stay for awhile, ordering multiple courses and rounds of umbrella-garnished drinks. Just because it's old-fashioned doesn't mean that the menu is tired or stuffy. The offerings here come from all over China and focus on the cuisine of Canton, Shanghai and Szechuan. Standards such as moo shu pork, General Tso's chicken and vegetable lo mein receive a delicate touch. Don't be afraid to stray from the usual to give their surprisingly affordable seafood specialties (such as lobster and soft-shell crab dishes) a try. -- Cynthia Glover
