A hot new spot for the young and trendy, Mad River is packed with well-dressed and body-conscious twenty- and thirty-somethings grooving to '80s tunes and cheering for their favorite teams. No river runs through it, but this third Mad River -- named for the real McCoy, which runs north instead of south -- is a magnet for young professionals seeking cool times and big portions of pub grub at good prices. Massive and lofty, the renovated bank building stores coats in a former vault -- they're safe here. Sound bounces off copper-topped bars and stained glass skylights. The walls are festooned with outdoor themes, skis and canoe. Every night brings specials: Monday Mayhem football, Two for Tuesday, Wacky Wing Wednesday and Thin Crust Thursday. House faves run to wings, Arizona Burritos, crab Harbour Cakes and Mad River steak salad, plus the Burger Board. But most folks come to see and be seen at this Federal Hill watering hole.

if you're like me then you love fat women. fat sweaty disgusting women that have to put baby powder on their thighs to keep them from chafing. if you're into this too, and enjoy the constant smell of vomit with ghetto white people then mad river is just your place. seriously look at what the heffers below have said.

I've eaten just about everything off the menu and everything was great - especailly The Mexicali Burger and Boardwalk Fries . Now Thats a Great Combo !!! Service has always been wonderful . Keep up the Good Work !!! Jake Dana

Good Times, Good People

My friends and I love going to Mad River. Always have a great time and it's always a nice crowd. Some of the hottest bartenders, great music, and amazing food. You can always spot some Ravens or Orioles players there as well. A great place to meet the local, young professionals of Baltimore. If you're from out of town, definitely recommend this place to meet people!

Most fun bar in BMORE

My girlfriends and I LOVE this place. It is BY FAR the best bar in Fed Hill, maybe all of BMORE. The drinks are cheap, the bar is always jumping and the crowd is hot. The bartenders are so fun and always having a good time with the crowd.
